Social networking has been going on for years in different forms going all the way back to the newsgroups and bulletin boards that were born with the internet.   Today there are two forms that have become dominant in online and network marketing:  Social Community Sites ( Facebook and Twitter being the dominant players ) and Social Bookmarking Sites ( Ex. Digg & Stumbled Upon ).

This is another area where working as an individual may seem like an extremely futile task as it takes lots of effort to create any visible results.   Working as part of a large group however, if everyone does a little bit each day the results are incredible over time.

Recently I started using a service where they manually set up accounts for you and submit them.  Software can get really frustrating to use, so it sometimes seems like a bargain to pay $15 to have someone manually submit them to 125 bookmarking sites.  JD SEO is the one I used and they did a good job, they even send a report afterwards so you can verify the submissions.  I prefer package 3 and then you can use multiple titles and descriptions which is important.

Avoid Trafficbot Software For Bookmarking

This sotware called TrafficBot is the best selling software on clickbank because it's simple and designed for anyone who doesn't have a whole lot of experience with Bookmarking or Web 2.0 techniques in general.  It has push button features that make it easy to promote your web sites, articles and videos online.   However, this software will bookmark your article on only 10 sites, whereas the free resource above uses 29 sites. 

Social bookmarking is the fastest way to spread the news that you have written a new article.  It also let's Google know that your content exists so it can get indexed quickly!
